WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Girls U8 hockey team kicked off its first season with a 9-5 win against the Shoreline Sharks (Guilford, Conn.) at Amelia Ice Arena Oct. 20.
The team is part of the Westfield Youth Hockey Association and includes 12 players under age 8.
