The National Weather Service issued an updated frost advisory at 3 a.m. on Sunday valid for Monday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Monmouth, Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean counties.
The weather service states, “Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation.”
“Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” explains the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
