Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan turned muse for couturier Manish Malhotra’s fashion show in Mumbai.

Manish Malhotra celebrates the spirit of India, courage of survivors and pays homage to heritage at his fashion show through his handloom Indian couture collection, Evara.

Showcasing the spirit of unity, resilience and beauty of India weaved into a tapestry of craftsmanship, couturier Manish Malhotra curated Namo Bharat: Seva, Saahas, Sanskruti during Seva Pakhwada 2024 in Mumbai, on October 1, 2024.

Hosted at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, the fashion show saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-stars Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan turn muse for Manish Malhotra’s fashion show. Manish Malhotra celebrated the spirit of India, courage of survivors and paid homage to heritage at his fashion show through his handloom Indian couture collection, Evara.

Triptii exuded timeless allure in a gulabi Banarasi brocade lehenga with gold and silver zardozi borders on a handwoven Banarasi dupatta. The interplay of traditional handloom brocade set the tone for the perfect Indian bride. Draped to perfection, Triptii’s opulent bridal look was enhanced with Manish Malhotra high jewellery. The rich textile and intricate thread work celebrated Manish’s timeless artistry.

Kartik Aaryan charmed his way into everyone’s hearts in a captivating black sherwani with ivory dori work. Kartik paired it with a black asymmetric kurta and trousers. Exuding the ‘Rooh baba’ vibe with his runway walk, Kartik too set the tone for the upcoming wedding season.

Transcending style, the fashion show celebrated India’s rich textile heritage and honoured the incredible journeys of survivors. The runway was also graced by actors Sonali Bendre and Hina Khan, who looked ethereal in their handloom ensembles. Sonali Bendre looked ethereal in a dual tone green and red traditional saree styled with a traditional hand embroidered drape.

Hina Khan exuded grace and elegance as she walked on the runway in a pastel pink tulle kurta paired with brocade pants. The look was styled with a dual tone tulle dupatta with an embroidered border.

Manish Malhotra’s new collection, Evara, embraces handloom textiles, interwoven with intricate zardosi and traditional zari craftsmanship. This collection celebrates the opulence of Indian heritage and tradition, a gift passed down through generations of craftsmen and weavers.

Ahead of the showcase, Manish Malhotra took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note, speaking about the show. Manish sayd: Honoured to curate Namo Bharat: Seva, Saahas, Sanskruti. This fashion show transcends style – it celebrates our rich textile heritage and honours the incredible journeys of survivors.
