Chuka Beach is a riverside beach formation that came into existence during the evolution of the Sharda Dam project. Away from the crowds, this place is serene, full of wildlife, and budget-friendly. Whether you are a solo adventurer, a wildlife photographer, or a birdwatcher, this away-from-the crowd place will leave you in awe.
According to reports, the place lay neglected for years and the Yogi Adityanath government initiated concrete steps to develop it into a tourist destination.
How to Reach Chuka Beach?
This place is well-connected by road and air transport. You can drive to the entrance of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve or take public transport to reach there.
If you are planning to travel by air, you can take a flight to Lucknow, from where you have to make a five to six-hour journey by road.
Once you reach Pilibhit Tiger Reserve on the Madhotanda-Khatima road, you will need to book a safari to reach Chuka Beach, as private vehicles are not allowed inside the tiger reserve.
Accommodations at Chuka Beach
If you are planning to stay in this less-explored and beautiful destination, you can book your stay in advance through the website of UP tourism or Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.
There are seven forest rest houses available in different ranges under the tiger reserve. As many as four Tharu huts and one tree house are also available for tourists. The prices start from about Rs 5,000 and go up according to the room you choose.
