Timothée Chalamet is all set to receive an honorary award at The Palm Springs Film Festival.

The actor has truly proved himself as one of the most talented artists in Hollywood as he gives an extraordinary performance in the biopic of popular rock singer, Bob Dylan.

The Film Festival’s chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi announced the ‘2025 Chairman’s Award’ for Chalamet.

In a statement, he added: “Timothée Chalamet embodies one of the most iconic figures in music history with his extraordinary performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.”

“Timothée showcases both his physical and vocal talents as he brings depth and nuance to this role that is certain to receive award recognition”, Chandi concluded.

Dylan’s biopic is set in the backdrop of 1960; the time when a 19-year-old boy arrives with a guitar in New York aiming to change the course of American music.

The 2024 film showcases the singer’s ups and downs, while also focusing on his controversial 1965 performance that resonates globally.

Directed by James Mangold, A Complete Unknown also features Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton and Elle Fanning.

This is not the first time the 28-year-old actor is being rewarded with a title at Palm Springs, reports Deadline.

Previously, Timothée earned the ‘Rising Star Award’ in 2018 for Call Me By Your Name. Moreover, he received the ‘Spotlight Award’ for Beautiful Boy in 2019.
