Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made sure to spend this Thanksgiving together.
The songstress and the sports star celebrated Thanksgiving together for the first time, bringing their families together for the holiday, a source told Page Six.
“It was really important to Taylor and Travis to spend Thanksgiving together this year since they’ve never been able to before,” the insider shared, noting that last year’s work commitments kept them apart.
In 2023, Swift was performing in South America for her Eras Tour, while Kelce was occupied with the Kansas City Chiefs’ football schedule.
According to the source, the couple made a mutual effort to coordinate the gathering and were thrilled it came together.
“They knew it would take some coordination, but they’re so grateful they were able to pull it off.”
Swift and her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, hosted the Kelce family at her home in Nashville. The Kelce family included Travis’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce; his brother, Jason Kelce; sister-in-law Kylie Kelce; and nieces Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett.
The day after Thanksgiving, Swift and her father, Scott, joined Donna Kelce in cheering for Travis during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 19-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The holiday gathering came as a pleasant surprise, as Donna Kelce previously speculated Swift would be too “busy” with her ongoing Eras Tour to join the family festivities.
“She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do,” Donna had said on the Today show.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since the summer of 2023, making this Thanksgiving an especially meaningful milestone in their relationship.
