Taylor Swift Made A 'Swift' Recovery From An 'Eras Tour' Issue

Singer Taylor Swift isn’t afraid of a little clothing mishap!

The pop icon faced a situation that all musicians usually face at one time or another.

The “Tortured Poets Department” singer experienced a little mishap in the stage department in New Orleans last night when a platform suddenly stopped working in the middle of her performance.

The 34-year-old is in the middle of the final shows of her blockbuster “Eras Tour,” playing a handful of dates in the United States and Canada before the tour wraps up in December.

Swift and her fellow pop star and close friend, Gracie Abrams, are sharing the stage during those final gigs.

Abrams wasn’t the only one of Swift’s lady pals to share the New Orleans stage; the “Espresso” dynamo herself, Sabrina Carpenter, surprised fans by accompanying her close friend on a mashup including Carpenter’s huge song of the summer, “Please Please Please.”

The “Closure” singer’s run of shows at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome has been packed with memorable moments between the star and her beloved audience of ‘Swifties!’

The audience was able to hear Swift’s initial reaction to the “Eras Tour’s” unofficial official symbol, the beaded friendship bracelets.

The works of art are often exchanged between Swifties of all ages and contain references to songs and inside jokes related to the tour (of which there are many!).

Discussing the excitement inspired by the friendship bracelets, Swift said, “I just showed up one day and you guys were trading friendship bracelets and I was like, ‘that’s cool’ — and now there is a giant friendship bracelet on the outside of this stadium!” According to PEOPLE, a giant friendship bracelet adorned the building.

The friendship bracelets became a symbol of what the “Eras Tour” has gone on to represent between the singer and her fans: the unadulterated “joy” of being in a crowd and celebrating the collective love of live music, as well as the bond the audience shares with one another as fans of the “Willow” songstress.

“You’ve created traditions. You’ve created this mass movement of joy every time we play a show. And it makes me so proud, it really does,” she also told the crowd.

Not every single moment of being on stage is a celebratory moment for the singer and the intricately crafted stage set!

While Swift performed last night, an integral part of the stage- the platform affectionately dubbed the “Tayooba” by Swifties- quit operating properly, according to Page Six.

Video of the moment which circulated on social media, showed the device as operating “off beat” with “The Tortured Poets Department” hit “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”

Swift opted to use her catwalk to finish the dance routine instead of fretting about the broken stage accessory. Her dancers also let the moment pass by quickly getting rid of the “Tayooba.”

The “Full House” alum paid tribute to Swift’s recent TikTok, wherein she announced her return to the stage after a small hiatus. She and her cat, Olivia Benson, observed the Miami stadium, signifying Swift’s return to “the office.”

Stamos incorporated the details of the TikTok and cradled a paperback copy of “If You Would Have Told Me” in an Instagram reel. Each scene of Swift’s TikTok then flashes to an identical recreated scene by Stamos!

After a whirlwind romance and many engagement-related rumors, insiders close to Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce, are reporting that a future wedding could be in the works!

Over the weekend, The Daily Mail reported that sources said the couple could be tying the knot after their bond has reportedly been strengthened by Kelce’s ongoing support as Swift’s “protector” after a whirlwind year for the singer.

“Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He is going to make sure she is physically safe and emotionally safe — he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her,” an insider told the publication.

“Everyone is fascinated by Travis and Taylor. I am obsessed with a potential wedding. They are unbeatable together,” a second source echoed.

‘Tayvis’ began their relationship over a year ago. The couple introduced their relationship to the public after the “Fresh Out of the Slammer” singer began publicly supporting Kelce at Kansas City Chiefs football games.
