Seema Sajdeh recently opened up about her divorce from Sohail Khan, revealing the impact it has had on their family dynamics. In a heartfelt moment, Seema discussed the experience with her older son, Nirvaan, who shared insights into how the separation affected his younger brother, Yohan.
In the latest season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Nirvaan explained that Yohan, now 13, initially struggled to understand the concept of divorce, even resorting to Googling its meaning as he grappled with the situation. “Your divorce was out publicly, and it happened at a time when he (Yohan) probably didn’t even know the term ‘divorce’. I have seen him, he used to search up the definition of divorce and what it is. It hit him; it’s all very new to him,” Nirvaan reflected.
Another challenge emerged when Seema decided to move from Bandra, where Yohan’s friends and family connections were rooted, to Worli. The change left Yohan spending most of his time at Sohail’s house in Bandra to stay close to his friends and familiar surroundings.

Nirvaan expressed his concerns, saying, “All his (Yohan’s) friends are in Bandra. His life has been in Bandra. He was born in that house. We grew up in that house. Ultimately, you want your friends around, your family around. Now that you have moved to Worli, it becomes tough for us to migrate here to there. You have probably seen we don’t see you as often. I think you should move back to Bandra. You were more accessible to us then.”
In the season’s final episode, Seema takes Nirvaan’s advice to heart and moves back to Bandra to be closer to her sons. Seema and Sohail’s divorce was finalized in 2022, after 24 years of marriage and a period of separation prior to that.
