Royal family issues update after King Charles’ private earnings get exposed

Buckingham Palace on Monday shared a new update after Queen Camilla made a statement about King Charles health in her upcoming documentary.

The Queen Consort, who is bringing focus on a serious issue in her upcoming ITV documentary Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors, revealed that the cancer-stricken monarch was “doing really well”.

Palace on shared that the much-anticipated documentary will be releasing next week on Monday, November 11th, 2024.

In promotional videos shared leading up to the premiere, clips show Camilla was reduced to tears after hearing harrowing accounts of violence that women survived.

“I’m appalled by the number of people who are being killed… it was coming up to two a week. It’s just so important to do something now,” Camilla said in a statement.

“By scratching the surface, you get terrible shock,” she continued. “It’s such a heinous crime, if we could just get more people discussing it, talking about it, people are so shocked by what they hear that rather like me, they want to say, oh, hang a minute, perhaps there’s something we can help with to hopefully put an end to it.”

The update comes after King Charles and Prince William found themselves in the middle of a new controversy as an investigation by The Mirror and Channel 4’s Dispatches revealed that the senior royals have been earning “millions” from public bodies and charities.

Charles’ Duchy of Lancaster is reportedly getting £11.4 million ($14 million) from a NHS hospital in a 15-year deal to store its fleet of electric ambulances.

Moreover, the duchy will be getting at least £28 million ($34 million) after charging rent for the wind farm cables crossing its territory.
