WESTFIELD — For the 37th year, cyclists from around the region are getting ready for the Great River Ride, a long-distance pedal around Westfield and the neighboring hills.
The Oct. 13 event is actually several rides, as participants can choose from a variety of routes with lengths including 101 miles, 85 miles, 62 miles, 40 miles, a 72-mile gravel ride, or a 28-mile Vineyard Ride. Bicyclists can register at www.bikereg.com/great-river-ride.
