Queen Camilla seemingly silenced many speculations after she took on a major royal engagement sans King Charles.
Camilla, who has been fighting the lingering effects of a viral chest infection, stepped out to welcome Birgitte Macron to London after a significant event at the Buckingham Palace.
The Palace officially released a video alongside a message as the Queen issued a delightful announcement.
“Félicitations,” the message began. “Her Majesty The Queen and Madame Brigitte Macron have announced the winners of the Entente Littéraire Prize. Congratulations to all the winners!”
“Launched by Her Majesty and Madame Macron in 2023, during Their Majesties’ State Visit to France, the Prize recognises books aimed at teenagers and young adults. It celebrates the pleasures of reading and the sharing of literary experiences between France and the UK,” the statement continued.
“This first award ceremony takes place during the 120th Anniversary year of the Entente Cordiale, which is being celebrated by both countries. The prize illustrates the importance of the close bilateral relationship between the UK and France and celebrates our close cultural ties.”
The delightful announcement comes after scrutiny around Camilla’s health scare especially after Palace tweaked her schedule for the Qatar State Visit just a day before.
It appears that Camilla is doing well after making taking on an important royal engagement.
