Prince Harry appeared in his quirky self as he uses an interesting means to unveil the headline act for Invictus Games’ closing ceremony in February.
The Duke of Sussex also finally revealed what he was up to in September during his New York trip, when he was spotted outside the famous tattoo parlour, East Side Ink.
In a hilarious skit to promote the upcoming Invictus Games in Canada and Whistler, Harry got himself his first-ever tattoo from Jelly Roll, just to convince him to do the closing ceremony.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 and the country singer shared a video clip on Instagram.
The clip opens with Harry being seated at the tattoo parlour and Jelly warmly greets him when he comes in.
“Hey, hey! Tattoos! Speaking of! What’s up! I’m such a fan, dude. Do you know I could not believe it when they called me and told me Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today? They wanted me to give him his first tattoo? This is the coolest thing ever!”
To which, a surprised Harry reveals that he only “came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games.”
He said, “There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo!”
The Need a Favor singer bargains, “I’ll play the Invictus Games, you just let me give you your first tattoo.” Harry gives in, “Alright, screw it, let’s go.”
In a nod to the Games, Harry got an ‘I AM’ on his neck and the singer sneakily adds a Jelly Roll, in its signature font, underneath it, much to Harry’s shock.
However, it appears, Harry didn’t really get a tattoo given that he appeared with a clear neck during the Grey Cup on Sunday and at the Seaforth Armoury on Monday.
The new video comes amid promotion of the upcoming Invictus Games which are set to kick in less than three months.
