Netflix is gearing up for the bittersweet finale of its beloved series, Stranger Things.
To celebrate the fifth and final season, the streaming platform is launching Stranger Season, a global initiative featuring merchandise, activations, and events that will immerse fans in the world of Hawkins one last time.
Stranger Season will include a comic book series, Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire, published by Dark Horse.
The annual “Stranger Things Day” event returns on November 6, marking the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance.
Brands like Pandora, Polly Pocket, and Peloton are teaming up with Netflix to bring Stranger Things to life.
Additionally, Netflix will host screenings of iconic movies that inspired the series, such as Ghostbusters, The Shining, The Thing, and Poltergeist, at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles.
The final season promises an epic conclusion to the battle against Vecna, the mastermind villain behind every monster the gang has faced. Will Eleven, Mike, Dustin, and their friends emerge victorious, or will Vecna finally take over?
While details on the release date are scarce, Netflix promises the final season will premiere sometime next year.
