A 74-year-old woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Hackensack.
She was hit around 9:45 p.m. at Hudson Street and Moonachie Road, according to Hackensack Police Chief Michael Antista.
The pedestrian, a Hackensack resident, suffered serious bodily injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, Antista said.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, the chief noted.
The crash remains under investigation and no additional details were available Sunday morning.
