The bereaved One Direction bandmates and family members paid tribute to late Liam Payne

The One Direction star, Liam Payne, faced a fatal accident as he fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday, October 16th. The cause of death was revealed to be multiple traumas that caused internal and external bleeding.

After the tragic death of the 31-year-old singer, a number of television projects that he was starring in, are reportedly pushed back from release.

A music competition show on Netflix which featured the late star had seemingly wrapped up filming in May this year. Payne was said to appear as a judge on the show called Building The Band.

The show brought together 50 singers to compete for a chance to form a new band amongst each other without even seeing each other. It was supposed to connect the singers using their chemistry and musical compatibility before they got to meet. Payne was one of the mentors along with Nicole Scherzinger, and Kelly Rowland. While Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean was the host.

According to a report by The Sun, the series was due to come out next year but it seems uncertain now. The outlet also reported that the upcoming documentary series Boybands Forever’s future is also unclear at present.

The BBC series, which looks at the behind the scene life of a boyband, is likely to be held back as well.

Both the streaming platforms have not made a public announcement yet.
