King Charles has made a splash during his royal tour of Australia, expressing his appreciation for the local surf clubs just days after a video of his son, Prince Harry, enjoying the sport emerged.
The monarch, alongside Queen Camilla, marked the Bicentenary of the New South Wales Legislative Council today at Parliament House in Sydney.
In a delightful exchange with Kellie Sloane, the Member for Vaucluse, King Charles sent his warmest regards to the ‘amazing’ surf clubs at Bondi Beach.

The King’s comments about surfing coincided with the release of a video featuring Prince Harry, who was recently spotted riding the impressive waves at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in California.
Meanwhile, the newly released footage of Prince Harry, captured by professional surfer Raimana Van Bastolaer, shows him expertly navigating a six-foot wave at the Surf Ranch, known for its state-of-the-art wave technology.
Located over 100 miles from the ocean in Leemore, California, this facility is celebrated as the world’s premier artificial wave and is the only one accredited by the World Surf League for elite competitions.
Van Bastolaer, a Tahitian surfing legend, shared the clip with an affectionate nod, captioning it, “In Tahiti, we still call you Prince Harry.”
