It has been years since Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks has played a full season for his team.
Injuries have sadly become a regular part of Middleton’s career.
Despite that, he doesn’t feel he should be labeled “injury prone”.
Speaking with The Athletic, via NBACentral, Middleton spoke about his injuries and how people refer to him.
Middleton said:
“I feel like for the most part, it’s just — I don’t want to say freak accidents — but just accidents, man. And I think when you say injury-prone, that goes to how you take care of your body. And I take a lot of pride in taking care of my body since day one that I’ve been here. So, no, I don’t think I’m injury-prone at all. I’ve just had unfortunate incidents that have happened on the basketball court, which is a wrong place, bad time type of thing.”

The Bucks got 55 games out of Middleton last season, when he averaged 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
That was better than the season before when he only played in 33 games, but worse than 2021-22, when he was on the floor for 66 matches.
There is no denying that Middleton has a hard time staying healthy these days, but he said it is not for a lack of trying.
He claims that he puts a lot of effort into keeping himself healthy and in great shape at all times.
He wants to play, it’s just that “freak accidents” continually get in the way.
Unfortunately, Bucks fans are once again not sure how much they will get from Middleton in 2024-25.
Middleton is still recovering from his latest injury and the team has been non-committal about him playing at the start of the season.
Whether they are caused by freak accidents or not, Bucks fans have grown tired of Middleton’s injuries.
