The Jacksonville Jaguars are on very thin ice right now.

They are currently sitting at a very surprising and brutal 1-5 record with a game against the rebuilding New England Patriots on tap this weekend in London.

If they lose this game, perhaps head coach Doug Pederson might not come back with them.

So, that is why it is important that Pederson has every player available to him.

According to NFL.com, all-purpose running back Travis Etienne will be a game-time decision (hamstring).

Etienne, outside of quarterback Trevor Lawrence, might be the offense’s most important player.

The former Clemson star has rushed for 1,000+ yards each of the last two seasons and has caught 35+ passes each year too.

At his best, he is one of the most underrated running backs in the league.

Jacksonville is going to need him to be ready to play if they want to handle business against a team like the Pats, who have nothing to lose.

The Jaguars are coming off a near-20-point loss to the Chicago Bears in London last week after barely beating the Indianapolis Colts to get their first win of the season two weeks ago.

Doug Pederson’s offense has put up more than 20 points just one time this season, and that needs to change.

If Etienne isn’t out there on the field, that might be too lofty of a goal.

Luckily for the team from Duval County, the Pats gave up 41 points to the Houston Texans last week, which is why there should be some optimism that Jacksonville can find success on offense.
