For years, Kevin Durant has embraced being the NBA’s toughest villain.

Ever since he left the Oklahoma City Thunder, he’s been unapologetic about the way he carries himself, and that has rubbed plenty of fans the wrong way.

Nevertheless, not even the biggest Durant critic can take anything away from him at this point.

We’re talking about one of the greatest scorers to ever lace them up, and he added more to his epic tally on Saturday night.

With 31 points against the Dallas Mavericks, the two-time NBA champion topped 29,000 career points.

However, even after winning virtually everything there is to win as an NBA star, the 36-year-old still isn’t satisfied.

When asked about that milestone, Durant had a blunt answer: “I got more to do” (via ClutchPoints).

Durant’s love for the game is refreshing to watch.

In a time when players seem to be more focused on their brands, their clothes, and their cars, Durant might be the last ethical hooper in the game; he’s just madly in love with basketball.

He’s talked over and over about his desire to play until the wheels fall off, and even though he’s struggled with injuries later in his career, he could still make an impact on offense with his shot alone.

Durant is much more than just a scorer also.

He can create for others or get stops against the best of them.

And even if some don’t appreciate his game anymore because of how he carries himself on social media, watching him hoop is just beautiful.
