Kaley Cuoco teases possible return of ‘The Big Bang Theory’

Kaley Cuoco is ready to reprise her character Penny as the series universe expands

Kaley Cuoco, who played the role of Penny, fondly reminisced her time on the set of her hit series, The Big Bang Theory.

The Flight Attendant actress opened up about her time filming the popular CBS sitcom and revealed how she feels about a possible return.

“I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career,” she told People Magazine in a recent interview.

“I owe a lot to that character, to that show, to creator Chuck Lorre,” Cuoco said, adding that those days “were some of the best years of my life” and she had “the most fun” on its set.

When the Emmy nominated star was asked if she will ever consider reprising her character again, she enthused, “I would absolutely reprise that role.”

She continued, “100%. I love that character, and I always will.”

Meanwhile, Cuoco’s co-star, Jim Parsons expressed a different take on the Big Bang Theory reboot.

Earlier this month, the Young Sheldon executive producer and narrator told the outlet that “it was so special as what it was as what it is. And they call it lightning in a bottle for a reason.”

However, Parsons did add that he would “never say never to anything, because life just changes so much.”

The popular CBS sitcom ran for 12 seasons from 2007 to 2019, becoming the longest-running multi-camera series in television history.

The series eventually launched its spinoff, Young Sheldon, based on Parsons’ character Sheldon Cooper and his childhood days.

According to a ScreenRant source The Big Bang Theory will be getting another spinoff. The supporting actors of the series are expected to star in its sequel which is currently in works.

Moreover, Young Sheldon’s sequel, Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, based on Sheldon’s elder brother’s life is currently streaming.
