For the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Patrick Mahomes hasn’t been playing well statistically, stud wide receiver Rashee Rice is out for the year, another key wideout in Marquise Brown is out and starting running back Isiah Pacheco has been out.

Yet all the two-time defending Super Bowl champions continue to do is win, and they’re now the only undefeated team left in the NFL this season after improving to a 6-0 record with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Some may be wondering if they can become only the third team to go undefeated throughout the entire regular season, and Pete Prisco of CBS Sports said that their Week 11 game versus the Buffalo Bills will be their toughest test in that regard.

The Chiefs may be somewhat of an anomaly among NFL teams that have remained undefeated up to this point of the season.

They rank only slightly above average overall in many key offensive categories, and while their overall defense has been solid, their passing defense ranks just 15th in touchdowns and 20th in yards.

Mahomes, who is widely regarded as the best player in the world, has thrown eight interceptions, which is tied for the most in the league, and just six touchdown passes, and his passer rating is a poor 82.5.

It is a testament to how resourceful the Chiefs are, as well as to head coach Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

Other than that Week 11 matchup with Buffalo, they do not have that many challenging games left on their schedule, but of course, a 17-0 record won’t mean anything without a third straight Vince Lombardi Trophy.
