Hudson County politicians, appointed officials and public employees need not apply.
The county is creating an LGBTQ+ task force, and unlike so many that are composed of elected and unelected officials, this group will consist solely of community members, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy said.
“We are looking for a wide array of voices, everyone from students to business owners to advocates,” said county spokesman Mark Cygan. “There’s not really a qualification standard, but basically have a strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and a passion for making Hudson County more inclusive.”
