The ad, part of an ongoing campaign for Intimissimi, shows the mother-daughter combo modelling intimate clothing, including a shot of Leni in a bra.
The campaign was deemed “inappropriate” by many, with many questioning the dynamic of a mother posing with her daughter in such content.
According to the Daily Mail, Klum has previously received backlash for similar ads.
Since 2022, her partnerships with Leni for the lingerie line have sparked criticism, with some fans calling the advertisements “weird” and “disturbing.”
Meanwhile, the latest photo elicited comments such as, “Which normal mum would pose with her daughter in lingerie?”
Furthermore, Klum, who shares Leni with businessman Flavio Briatore, has previously disabled comments on social media posts in response to criticism.
Despite the uproar, she continues to appear prominently in Intimissimi’s campaigns, frequently highlighting their relationship.
It’s worth noting that other family members participated in the ad, including Klum’s mother, Erna, who appeared earlier this year in less revealing apparel, according to the tabloid.
