Harrison Ford has officially transformed into the Red Hulk, marking a historic first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
On Saturday, November 9, Marvel Entertainment dropped a thrilling new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World, featuring the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny star turning red with rage as he faces Anthony Mackie’s Captain America.
After a brief tease of the radioactive superhuman in the film’s initial teaser, the trailer released at D23 Brazil has now confirmed that Ford’s character, President Thaddeus Ross (previously portrayed by the late William Hurt), will indeed transform into the Crimson Hulk, Bruce Banner’s fearsome counterpart.
Fans are buzzing with excitement, eager to see the moment that triggers Ross’s transformation and whether he’ll truly go toe-to-toe with Captain America.
“This universe has never seen a Red Hulk,” one fan wrote in the YouTube video’s comments section.
“This is the first Red Hulk in the MCU,” another echoed.
“Good move not hiding the Red Hulk transformation—it’ll definitely bring people to the theatres,” a third remarked.
“That final showdown between Cap and Red Hulk looks promising,” a fourth fan added, brimming with anticipation.
The trailer builds to its most intense moment when President Ross collapses at what appears to be a White House press conference, his hand outstretched as he transforms. He then emerges from the flames, fully embodying the Red Hulk.
Captain America: Brave New World is slated to hit theatres on February 14, 2024.
