Brenna Buraszeski scored twice to lead eighth-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s past ninth-seeded Watchung Hills 3-1 in the second round of the Somerset County Tournament in Gladstone.
Gill St. Bernard’s (10-1) took a 2-1 lead at halftime before adding another goal in the second.
Calista Huerfano also scored for Gill St. Bernard’s while Meredith Klosek had two assists. Chloe Lemanowicz made seven saves.
Gill St. Bernard’s will face top-seeded Rutgers Prep in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
Gill St. Benard’s won 10 straight games after losing its season-opener to Newark Academy on Sept. 4.
Gill St. Bernard’s leads the Skyland-Mountain Division.
Olivia Bello scored for Watchung Hills (1-12-1) while Alisha Perez made 11 saves.
