The New York Mets suffered their third loss of eight or more runs in game four of the National League Championship Series on Thursday.

With the Mets now being down in the series three games to one, they will face elimination in game five on Friday.

Things are not looking great for the Mets to advance to the World Series, but Most Valuable Player candidate Francisco Lindor had something to say about it.

According to MLB on ‘X,’ Lindor said “If you have no belief, you shouldn’t be here.  You gotta believe, you gotta fight for what you want.”

Lindor appears to think that the Mets can make the comeback and win three straight games to appear in their first World Series since 2015.

He is doing his part in the NLCS as he has four hits in 16 at-bats with one home run, one run batted in, two runs scored, and two walks.

The whole series has consisted of games that were not very close as the closest game was a Mets win in game two by a score of seven to three.

Mets fans will try to get behind their team for the third straight game at home and will them to a victory to force game six that would move back to Los Angeles.

Lindor and the Mets offense will look to get things back on track as they have only scored five runs through four games and were shutout in games one and three.

Game six, if necessary, would take place on Sunday back at Dodger Stadium.
