The FDA says it is focusing on a California company that sells McDonald’s and other restaurants onions. McDonald’s says California-based Taylor Farms is the source of the potentially tainted onions on its Quarter Pounders in some states. Taylor Farms told Bloomberg it hasn’t found traces of E. coli but is pulling products “out of an abundance of caution.” Almost 50 people have gotten sick and one person has died. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa reports.
