Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan‘s film Karan Arjun will be re-released in theaters on November 22, 2024. The movie is known for its popular songs and memorable dialogues. However, during the filming of the song ‘Bhangda Paale,’ co-star Mamta Kulkarni expressed her frustration with the two actors, saying they were ruining the performance, which made Shah Rukh feel embarrassed.
During a past episode of Bigg Boss, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol discussed their experiences working with Salman Khan in their only full-fledged film together. SRK shared a memory of dancing behind Mamta Kulkarni in a scene that the director approved, but the actress had a different opinion about it.
The actor shared that Mamta Kulkarni criticized their dance steps, saying they ruined the song while she performed well. He recalled standing off to the side with Salman when Mamta sharply whistled at them, making a signaling gesture. At first, they thought she wasn’t calling them at all.
When they looked back at Mamta, Salman convinced Shah Rukh that she was indeed calling him. Shah Rukh recalled that Mamta clearly expressed her frustration, urging them to practice before coming to the set, as she was nailing her steps while they were not performing well.
SRK and Salman were surprised by Mamta’s feedback, as they thought they were dancing like ‘Prabhudeva’ and ‘Michael Jackson.’ Shah Rukh mentioned that while they were initially excited about their performance, Mamta’s scolding left them feeling embarrassed and insulted.
The actor revealed that they would often stay up all night, rehearsing until 5 a.m. for their scenes the next day. He humorously noted that the following day, they successfully executed the dance step while Mamta ended up getting it wrong.
