The Chicago Bears didn’t play well on Sunday.

Somehow, they managed to score 15 unanswered points to put the Commanders against the ropes and most likely secure the win.

Then, Matt Eberflus’ decision-making was called into question after the stunning loss.

The Bears’ prevent defense helped the Commanders convert an easy 13-yard pass play to get closer to a potential Hail Mary on their final drive.

That’s why Dan Orlovsky believes Eberflus cost his team the game.

Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Mike Greenberg called out Eberflus for stating that those 13 yards they gave up in the final sequence didn’t matter, as they pretty much set the table for the Hail Mary.

Orlovsky added that the way he coached the final drive was the biggest reason why they lost.

“The Bears lost the game because of coaching and the way that they coached that final sequence,” Orlovsky said.

Unfortunately, this has been a recurring issue with the Bears since Eberflus took over.

He’s now 3-17 on the road since he was hired by the team, and some analysts thought he should’ve been fired last season.

Whether that should be the case isn’t for us to debate, but this wasn’t a good look at all.
