NBA scouts and fans alike are raving about Cooper Flagg’s potential.

He has regularly gone viral for his impressive play, looking like a man among children more often than not, even though he’s just 17 years old himself.

That’s why it’s not unusual to see the young forward again making a splash on social media after putting up an emphatic dunk while playing for Duke.

Flagg excelled for Team USA’s Under-17 squad, averaging 9.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.9 blocked shots and 2.4 steals per game en route to a gold medal at the 2022 World Cup.

He has the potential to be a disruptive defender because of his combination of length, quickness and instincts.

However, he can be even more of a difference-maker on offense.

Standing at 6-foot-9, he likely will continue to grow for at least another year.

He’s suited to play either forward spot, making him the ultimate offensive cheat code because of his ability to shoot over almost every defender.

In addition, he’s already measured himself against some NBA competition, as he was a part of the select team that scrimmaged Team USA as it prepared for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

He went toe-to-toe with some of the greatest of all time, leaving a strong impression.

Multiple teams will be fighting for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft in order to select Flagg, who is likely to become available after playing his freshman season at Duke.

He could be a generational talent, not to mention the fact that he’s going to be very young whenever he enters the league.

If he keeps making plays like this, it won’t be long before he’s hogging most of the highlights too.
