Yvette Nicole Brown celebrated her wedding with Anthony Davis.
The Community alum officially tied the knot in Los Angeles on December 14, one year after announcing her engagement, describing the event as, “intimate, classy and fun.”
“It’s never too late,” the 53-year-old shared with People in an interview on Sunday, December 15.
She shared with the magazine that she had zero doubts about taking this huge life decision.
“I had no nerves when it came to marrying this man,” the actress spoke fondly about her husband.
“He is the one for me. Absolutely.”
Her brother Paris walked Brown down the aisle, a moment she was the most excited for.
She explained that her parents couldn’t be there – her father, Omar, had been battling Alzheimer’s, and her mother, Fran, had unfortunately passed away in 2021.
Both of Davis’ parents had passed, so her brother and sister filled in their positions.
“It was nice to walk down the aisle toward family and with family, even if it’s not the family we wish we had in those roles,” she expressed.
However, the professional basketball player pulled off a heartwarming surprise by working with Drake and Josh’s actress’s father’s care facility to ensure he was able to attend his daughter’s wedding.
