The published report is in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards. It marks a major milestone in the brand’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibility.
In today’s evolving world, sustainability is essential for luxury brands. Canali, renowned for over 90 years of artisanal craftsmanship, is leading the charge by balancing heritage with responsible practices. This report introduces Canali’s CAre project, launched in 2023, which consolidates all the brand’s sustainability efforts. Spearheaded by a dedicated Sustainability Committee, the initiative underscores the company’s resolve to continuously enhance its environmental and social performance while ensuring robust governance.
Since 2021, Canali has adopted the OEF (Organisation Environmental Footprint) and PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) methodologies, recommended by the European Union. These methodologies enable the company to accurately measure its environmental impact, identify areas for improvement, and implement impactful changes throughout its operations. By producing exclusively in Italy, Canali upholds its commitment to reduce its carbon footprint while safeguarding artisanal excellence and craftsmanship.
