Everybody in the NFL is talking about Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, and rightfully so.
The first two picks have played well this season, and with them set to square off in Week 8, it only made sense that they stole most of the headlines.
Nevertheless, another rookie signal-caller was also very good in October.
As pointed out by Zac Stevens on X, the Denver Broncos rookie had the most passing touchdowns (7), passing yards (870), rushing touchdowns (2), and best TD-to-INT ratio (7/1) among all rookie quarterbacks in October.
He was also tied for the most wins (3).
Bo Nix was the best rookie QB in the NFL in October.
Nix had the most:
Passing touchdowns: 7

Granted, Daniels missed most of one game with a rib injury.
But even still, Nix’s numbers were more than impressive.
The Broncos are riding a two-game winning streak, and they’ve won three out of their past four games.
Their opponents haven’t been as good, as they’ve come across the Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and Carolina Panthers on the wins and Los Angeles Chargers in their one loss.
Nonetheless, even if that’s the case, Nix has overcome a slow start to the season.
The Broncos are now sitting on a 5-3 record, and the rookie out of Oregon has completed 63% of his passes for 1,530 yards, eight touchdowns, and five picks to go along with 259 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.
Also, he hasn’t turned the ball over in five out of his eight games this season, with four of his picks coming in his first two starts.
It hasn’t always been pretty, but the Broncos may have found their guy, and he’s looking better and more comfortable by the day.
