A 21-year-old man from East Bridgewater was arrested on child pornography charges Thursday with the help of a nonprofit organization, according to a statement from the town’s police department.
Jason Giles, 21, of East Bridgewater, was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, disseminating obscene matter to a minor, enticing a child under 16 and posing/exhibiting a child in a sexual act, the release said.
East Bridgewater Police received a call from a woman in Indiana who said she was an employee of an organization called Bikers Against Predators, a nonprofit organization that exposes online predators to educate the public and spread awareness.
