Bharti Airtel Q2 Results: Its revenue from operations rises 12 per cent year-on-year to Rs 41,473 crore.

Bharti Airtel on Monday reported a 168 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 3,593 crore, mainly on the back of a tariff hike and strong performance in India and Africa businesses. However, the net profit is below market expectation of Rs 4,398 crore, as per Bloomberg’s poll of brokerage estimates.
Airtel had posted a net profit of Rs 1,341 crore a year ago.
The company’s revenue from operations for the July-September quarter rose 12 percent year-on-year to Rs 41,473 crore.
