Recently, examination of so-called “alien mummies” from Peru has ignited a new controversy about the “Nazca Tridactyls” that were first dug up by local tombaroli, fascinate and horrify since then. According to reports, while some researchers argue that these findings could be evidence of advanced ancient technology or even extraterrestrial life, others call them assembled hoaxes of animal bones, connected using modern glue.
The “alien mummies” first came to public view through local tomb raiders who, believing they had found the mummies in a remote cave near the Nazca Lines in Peru. The mummies have elongated heads and three fingers on each hand, which has created for some people the belief that they are not human. The “tridactyl” hand closely resembles the specimens presented to Mexican politicians last year. However, the new ones are smaller, and raise doubts about their authenticity. As reported by the New York Post, Dr. Flavio Estrada, a forensic archaeologist at Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, said the recent specimens are dolls “assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues.” He emphasized, “They’re not extra terrestrials It’s totally a made-up story”

He suggested genetic testing and further forensic examination to determine the specimens’ true nature, involving a multidisciplinary team of scientists collaborating with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture to ensure the studies are conducted legally and ethically, respecting Peru’s cultural heritage
One of the crucial voices in the investigation, Dr. Alejandra Rodriguez, a bioarchaeologist from the University of Lima said that caution and examination must be exercised in such a discovery. “While the discovery of these metallic structures is indeed fascinating, we must approach this with a critical eye. There are many factors to consider, including the possibility of contamination or modern interference,” she stated.
