The Kardashians are going to go simple this Christmas.
Kim Kardashian shared with Vogue that her family is opting for a more intimate Christmas Eve gathering this year, stepping away from their traditional extravagant celebrations.
“We’re doing a really low-key Christmas Eve party this year,” the 44-year-old reality star revealed during the grand opening of her New York City Skims store.
Kardashian explained that ongoing construction has made hosting their usual lavish affair challenging.
Instead, the family will enjoy a close-knit celebration. “We’re doing a really family intimate one that I’m really excited about,” she said.
Despite the scaled-back plans, the Kardashians will maintain their signature glam.
“We’re still dressing up to the nines,” Kardashian noted, adding, “Because that’s what we do.”
Kardashian assured fans that the iconic parties aren’t gone for good.
“They’re just beginning. Our kids love them, and now all their friends want to come. It’s such a fun tradition.”
The festive tradition, which began at Kris Jenner’s Calabasas home in the late 1970s, has evolved over the years, with Kardashian and her sister Kourtney taking turns hosting at their luxurious California residences.
