Ewan McGregor brings star power back to London’s West End

Ewan McGregor, Scottish actor who has done a few hit movies of his generation, is back now where he belongs to.

The 53-year-old actor is returning to the London’s iconic West End after almost like 17 long years to charm theater lovers everywhere.

The Bleeding Love actor is currently set to star in fresh take on Henrik Ibsen’s classic 1892 play, The Master Builder.

The Upcoming version which is written by playwright Lila Raicek and it will run at Wyndham’s Theatre in London from April to July 2025.

However, Ewan reunites with director Michael Grandage for this latest project as they have previously worked together when McGregor starred in Othello.

During his recent candid interview with BBS, the actor shared that he has “missed” being on the stage and also revealed that his return happened very unexpectedly as he was planning not to.

“The funny story is, I had literally just finished reading Ibsen’s The Master Builder for pleasure – an extraordinary read.” he shared.

Ewan McGregor further added: “Michael got in touch out of the blue and I mentioned how much I’d love to get back on stage.”
