Angelina Jolie has expressed how she feels about the idea of her biopic.
Clearly, the Academy Award winning actress has ruled out the chances of a biopic to be made on her life.
The Sunday Times, when asked Jolie about the possibility of her auto-biography, the Maleficent star expressed that she would never want one to be made.
“That gets the most insane question award. When you’re a public person and you’re playing her (Maria Callas), you’re conscious of how you would hate for somebody to interpret your life or think they understand your life, so we tried to be thoughtful.”
“Let’s hope there isn’t one about my life”, stated the 49-year-old humanitarian.
This comes after Angelina accepted in an interview that she is now growing older, which created challenges for her to prepare for the role of Maria.
According to director Pablo Larrain, The Tourist actress had to get extensive training to step into the shoes of popular opera singer, Maria Callas.
“She had to train for a long time. She trained for over seven months. There’s breathing, there’s posture, there’s accent.
“She sang in Italian and French, but mostly Italian. There’s what in music is called the pitch, which is the capacity to reach each note and follow the melody, and that was very challenging for her”, the director revealed.
Angelina’s 2024 film premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The film received a an eight-minute long standing ovation.
