Nine people were injured in a fiery, three-vehicle crash on Interstate 195 in Monmouth County on Sunday night, police said.
Three passenger vehicles collided on westbound I-195 at milepost 9 in Upper Freehold Township around 11:15 p.m., a New Jersey State Police spokesman said.
One of the vehicles caught fire, according to the spokesman.
All nine occupants of the three vehicles suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
