Shah Rukh Khan might be a global superstar, but for the actor, his family always comes first. The actor’s world not only revolves around wife Gauri and their 3 kids, but he is equally close to his in-laws. Earlier, at the same event in Dubai, the King Khan was seen shaking a leg with his mother-in-law Savita Chibber at a party.While on the couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on Friday. They have three children: Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam.
In a previous appearance on Koffee with Karan, Shah Rukh shared how parenthood changed their lives. He admitted that, during Gauri’s pregnancy, he hadn’t initially thought of her as a mother. Reflecting on Aryan’s birth, he recounted, “I went with her to the operating theatre for her Caesarean. I thought she’d die. I wasn’t even thinking about the baby at that point; it wasn’t important to me. She was shivering so much. I logically knew you don’t die giving birth, but I still got scared.”
When their first child, Aryan, was born in 1997, Shah Rukh was present in the room and felt nervous for Gauri. In a 1998 interview with Rediff, he mentioned, “When he tells a girl his name is Aryan Khan, she’ll be impressed.” He also humorously noted he didn’t change any diapers and saw Aryan as a blend of both his parents.
Aryan is set to launch his show, Stardom, where he serves as the showrunner, while Suhana made her film debut last year in The Archies (2023). Shah Rukh will soon be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King, alongside an ensemble cast.
