The Detroit Lions entered last season as a dark horse candidate to come out of the NFC.

They proved the hype was well-deserved by reaching the NFC Championship Game last season, and they figured it to be an even bigger threat this time around.

With seven weeks of NFL football on the books, they’ve been exactly that.

As a matter of fact, they’ve looked like the best offense in the league, not only on the eye test but also in the numbers.

At least, that’s how PFF analyst Dalton Wasserman feels.

Talking on the PFF podcast, he argued that the Lions were just so stacked that they’re almost impossible to stop when they get rolling.

With Ben Johnson scheming and Jared Goff executing at such a high level, they’re making the most of their plethora of studs on the offensive side of the ball.

Wasserman claimed that their offense as a whole got a 92 grade in the win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The Lions are absolutely stacked on offense.

They have one of the best offensive lines in the game, and their running game is borderline unstoppable when it gets going with Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta are also elite pass-catching options, and Goff is playing the absolute best football of his career.

The Lions have unfinished business, and even though some still may have doubts about Dan Campbell’s decision-making, they’re not the kind of team you want to come across in the playoffs.
