Seema Sajdeh, the ex-wife of Sohail Khan, has not only appreciated but gone ahead to hail her former brother-in-law Salman Khan and his family for their strong show of support to Malaika Arora, who was previously married to Arbaaz Khan, in the wake of her father Anil Kuldip Mehta’s demise.
Speaking to News 18, Seema opened up, “They are rocks. When it comes to a crisis or if you need anything, they are all there. That’s what makes them the family they are,” said Sajdeh.
Following her father’s passing, Salman, who was busy on a shoot outside the city, rushed back to Mumbai and met Malaika immediately upon return, as indicated by Seema.
Seema further shared how support does not come only during public appearances, urging everyone to know that they are also strong in hard times. She insisted that apart from Salman, Sohail, her ex-husband, Sohail, too gathered around Malaika and comforted her.
Malaika split with Arbaaz Khan way back in 2017. She has been seen rarely attending family events with the Khans, however. But Salman himself has hardly appeared publically with her. His presence there touched not just Malaika but even garnered appreciation from netizens who were appreciating the empathy and loyalty towards the family.
She confessed during the interview that this family unity is engraved in her mind, especially after being through a breakup with Sohail Khan herself. The couple was together for 24 years before they went their separate ways in 2022, yet the family remains supportive towards them.
Meanwhile, after her separation from Arbaaz Khan, Malaika was in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor until earlier this year, when reports surfaced of their split.
