Haason Reddick is set to make his debut with the New York Jets, ending his extended offseason holdout.

The 30-year-old edge rusher reported to the team last week and jumped into practice Monday, gearing up for the upcoming matchup against the struggling New England Patriots (1-6).

As he prepares for his first game with the Jets (2-5), Reddick took to Instagram with a confident message.

NFL reporter Paul Andrew Esden Jr. shared Reddick’s post which read, “Hate me now, love me later… I’m still gone be me 😏.”

The NFL granted the Jets a two-game roster exemption after officially removing Reddick from the reserve/did not report list on Monday.

This gives New York breathing room to evaluate his readiness without rushing a roster decision.

That timeline could accelerate if Reddick demonstrates he’s physically prepared this week.

Head coach Jeff Ulbrich expressed eagerness to integrate Reddick into the defensive lineup once he’s ready, highlighting the pass rusher’s importance to the team’s defensive strategy.

The Jets acquired Reddick from Philadelphia in March to strengthen their pass rush, but he’s been absent from team facilities since April 1, when he completed his physical and finalized the trade.

While fans eagerly await Reddick’s impact on the field, Ulbrich stressed the importance of a careful evaluation process over the next few days.

Despite the need for patience, optimism runs high within the organization that Reddick will suit up against the Patriots this weekend, potentially providing the defensive boost the Jets have been seeking.
