King Charles and Queen Camilla mourn loss of beloved companion

The Royal Family shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of Queen Camilla’s cherished dog, Beth, in a touching social media post on Monday.

Describing Beth as “The Queen’s much-loved companion from @Battersea Dogs and Cats Home,” the post paid tribute to the joy Beth brought Camilla—whether “on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire.”

Accompanying the announcement were heartwarming photographs capturing Beth’s close bond with the Queen, including sweet moments of the two enjoying a Highland walk, meeting the late Paul O’Grady, and a tender shot of Beth nuzzling King Charles.

The Royal Family shared the sad news that Queen Camilla’s beloved dog, Beth, has passed away due to an untreatable tumor.

The touching announcement was posted alongside a heartwarming video of Beth joyfully accompanying her to a Battersea Dogs and Cats Home event in December 2020, where she used a sausage to unveil a plaque at their Old Windsor Centre.

Beth, along with her fellow Jack Russell terrier, Bluebell, was adopted by the Queen from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, and both dogs quickly became beloved members of the royal household.

They joined Camilla on several public engagements and even featured in an official portrait alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla to mark their 15th wedding anniversary in 2020.

Royal fans were quick to share their condolences, with heartfelt messages pouring in.

One fan wrote, “So sorry for your loss, Your Majesty,” echoing the sentiments of many who admired Beth’s charm and companionship.
