Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour which began on March 17, 2023, has ended on December 8, 2024, after 149 shows; and the show made headlines!
The blockbuster tour with 4 million attendees, three-hour-long, 40 song setlist, specific eras based on her 10 albums, has set numerous records.
The highest-grossing tour of all time has earned the Karma singer the title of first ever person to become a billionaire primarily from music, and the world’s richest female musician.
Taking from a public break-up to political controversies, the $1billion Eras Tour has seen it all.

Inspiration for the tour:
The Shake It Off hitmaker sowed the idea of the Eras tour during the time she was working on her album Midnights, released in October 2022.
Much to Swifties’ surprise, the Eras Tour had different eras dedicated to different albums unlike the case in previous tours.
The Long Live crooner wrote in the official Eras Tour book – released in the US on November 29, “I’ll never forget the call when I explained the concept for the Eras Tour to my team.”
“We’re going to call it the Eras Tour and each album will have its own chapter, its own world.”
The training journey:
It is no surprise that to perform 45 songs over 3.5 hours while also sticking to set choreography is no easy feat.
Taylor swore by six months training accompanied with personalized routine set by her personal trainer.
In her interview with TIME Magazine, she said, “Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud.”
Taylor Swift’s love life:
The public break-up with Joe Alwyn made headlines a month into the tour. News of break-up with Joe Alwyn followed by speculations that Taylor Swift was dating Matty Healy. In May 2023, The Sun confirmed the news. Just two months later, they were reported to have separated.
Finally entered Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight-end, in her life in summer 2023 and the blossoming romance between the two have kept the fans go crazy till today.

In June 2024, Prince William, Princess Charlotte and Prince George attended Taylor’s first show at Wembley Stadium.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s official account uploaded the royal selfie, captioned as “Thank you Taylor Swift for a great evening!” which took the internet by storm.
